Lion Sands River Lodge
Take in the African plains at Lion Sands Private Game Reserve at the heat of the Sabi Sand Game Reserve. The main lodge is a picture of opulence with its high thatch roof, luxurious wooden finishes and African decor. Guests can relax or dine on the large viewing deck as it opens up onto the African bush veld. Guest suites at Lion Sands are peaceful retreats with draped beds and a comfortable seating area with a fireplace. Each offers a private bathroom fitted with a bath and shower, and an additional outside shower. Both the bedroom and bathroom are air-conditioned and feature a private courtyard. Lion Sands Private Game Reserve are treated to daily safaris and guided walks. Other facilities include a private lounge and bar, swimming pool and gym facility. The health spa is there to pamper you with a variety of treatments. This lodge is a 2-hour drive from Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport.

Luxury Room
Each light and spacious room has a canopied king-sized bed (convertible to twin), dressing table, minibar, air conditioning, ceiling fan, and a full en-suite with a range of deluxe amenities – and because views of the river and bush cannot be wasted, we built a private deck beyond its fold-back glass doors.
Superior Luxury Room
The 6 Superior Luxury Rooms are larger in size, and have ample open-plan bathrooms and outdoor showers. 4 of the 6 Suites are inter-leading, and are therefore ideal for families.
River Suite
The 3 River Suites are the most spacious and private, set further away from the main lodge and each with its own deck and plunge pool making the most of the view. Step inside to a large bedroom leading on to a full en-suite leading out again to an open-air shower – you are never far from nature here.
Family River Suite
This suite, with two bedrooms and an en-suite between them, is ideal for a family or friends. Both bedrooms can be configured as double or twin and when laid out for children, with amenities, games and toys just for them, is like home – only better! You’ll also have a pool and viewing deck all to your own.
